ESAP-MA recently hosted a networking and partnership workshop at the Inter Luxury Hotel on August 20, 2024. The primary objective of the workshop was to establish and strengthen networking platforms, with the aim of advancing and fortifying networking and partnerships. This initiative seeks to create a solid foundation to continuously support the social accountability process in Ethiopia.
The workshop had the participation of 66 individuals representing ACSO, MOF, and various SA implementing partners. During the event, the official announcement of the establishment of the national social accountability consortium was made, and comprehensive updates and plans were presented.
A significant outcome of the workshop was the fruitful discussion on the potential support from the participating organizations for the woreda social accountability committee.
Deliberations also considered how these organizations could contribute to the sustained advancement of social accountability in the woreda.
